Welcome to the Spirituality and Judaism Network – a digital beit midrash for seekers, skeptics, sages, and students alike.

We are a community of learners, leaders, and lovers of Jewish life who believe that spirituality is not a side dish to Jewish identity — it’s the main course. This Substack is a gathering place for those seeking to explore how Jewish tradition resonates with the deepest parts of our souls and how our spiritual lives can be enriched through Jewish wisdom, practice, and community.

Whether you’re rooted in halakha or hovering at the edges of observance, whether you’re fluent in Hebrew or just learning to say Shalom, this space is for you.

What We’re About

The Spirituality and Judaism Network was created to:

  • Nurture soulful Jewish expression across denominations, communities, and identities.

  • Bridge ancient texts and modern lives, applying Torah, Talmud, Kabbalah, and Hasidut to the questions we’re actually asking today.

  • Foster community among rabbis, educators, activists, artists, and spiritual seekers who want more than just Jewish survival — we want Jewish aliveness.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Original essays on prayer, doubt, mysticism, God, suffering, joy, and transformation.

  • Guest posts from Jewish thinkers across the denominational and ideological spectrum.

  • Spiritual practices rooted in Jewish sources: meditations, kavannot, rituals, and reflections.

  • Conversation starters for your chevruta, havurah, or Friday night dinner table.

  • Reader gatherings (virtual and IRL) to learn, connect, and grow together.
